FirstBricks was developed to be a framework for developers, designed to form the first bricks of your application. FirstBricks builds on top of existing application building blocks providing a layer of unified and easy use and configuration.

Currently the FirstBricks framework provides dependency injection, logging, caching and exception handling, and ships with implementations build on top of the Microsoft Enterprise Library 4.1.

· No hairy xml configuration to get started, FirstBricks comes with in-code configuration methods for common scenarios. You can always do more advanced configuration if needed.
· Easy installation and deployment: FirstBricks comes as one .dll-file containing all necessary assemblies. Just add this to your Visual Studio solution, and you are ready to go.
· Abstraction of common application building blocks: Provides a loosely coupled architecture for you application making it well suited for testing and extension. You are never bound to a specific application block implementation. You can extend with your own configurators and application block implementations. In fact, you don't even have to be bound to the FirstBricks framework.
